Technology

We are turning innovative technologies into impaired driving detection to save lives and make our highways safer.

There is no other mobile solution to test for THC toxicity in the market.

In the near term, we all know THC is a threat to us on the road. We have a solution.

Improving the safety for drivers, their families, and the workplace.

Why Vox is the best solution

The Vox Breath Analyzer is based on the use of semiconductor lasers for absorption measurements of cannabinoids in the infrared region of the spectrum. We expect Vox’s technology to have significant advantages over competitive devices.

Our competitive advantage

is roadside detection by law enforcement using diode lasers for absorption measurements of cannabinoids in the infrared region of the spectrum. Vox’s technology has significant advantages over competitive devices including increased sensitivity and the ability to distinguish between THC and CBD as well as other cannabinoids to avoid false positives in the measurements.

Police prefer breath analyzers due to ease of use

  • Police officers prefer breath analyzer over swab (oral fluid), blood or urine test due to ease of use
  • Non-invasive
  • Greater control while administering test
  • No search warrant required

Our advantages over other existing methods

  • Can detect recent use (1-3 hrs)
  • Faster results as compared to other available tests.
  • Can also detect edible marijuana.

Who we sell to

Initially, the Vox Breath Analyzer will focus on the law enforcement market where no road-side device is available for determining THC intoxication. Once the law enforcement market is developed, the much larger industrial market will be addressed including workplace drug detection.

Technology platform

Technology uses infrared spectroscopy as a new and increasingly widespread modality for biomedical diagnostics.

Our platform technology provides following benefits in four key ways:

  1. Highest accuracy with our patent pending laser diode system.
  2. Ease of maintenance with our proprietary interchangeable filters.
  3. Roadside diagnostic testing with our proprietary mobile detection device.
  4. Our team’s expertise in optoelectronics and spectroscopy use of semiconductor laser for detection technologies.

“Since decriminalization of marijuana, we have seen an increase in operating under the influence of marijuana, the problem is proving it without some sort of test.”
